What's on at The Arches Theatre
The Arches is both an arts receiving and arts production house in the heart of Glasgow. As such, its foremost aim is to provide a programme of arts events which reflects the cultural aspirations and interests of the local Glasgow community. This is an acknowledgement by the Arches of the need to be vital and relevant to the city that it serves. At the same time, Glasgow is a European city with strong international ties and interests. The Arches aims to mirror the city’s cosmopolitan aspirations as well as forging new international links and developing new types of cultural activity.
The main entrance for all arts events, the Cafe Bar and Box Office is at 253 Argyle Street underneath Heilanman's Umbrella at the Central Station south entrance.
The entrance to club events and large gigs is still at 30 Midland Street.
