Scottish Recipes: Honey and Lemon Chicken
Here's an easy to prepare recipe for succulent, tasty chicken, cooked in a casserole in the oven.
Recipe Ingredients:
4 chicken pieces
2 oz (60g or ½ stick) butter
4 tablespoons clear honey
2-3 tablespoons lemon juice
4 sprigs fresh rosemaryPreparation Method:
Heat the butter in a frying pan and brown the chicken on all sides. Transfer to a lidded casserole.Boil the honey, lemon juice and rosemary in the frying pan for a few minutes and then pour over the chicken. Cover the casserole and cook in a pre-heated oven at 375F/190C/Gas Mark 5 for 20 minutes.
