Pros:
Bright, spacious, inoffensive
Cons:
Very formal
|
|
Pretence of a continental wine bar on the main Strasse. Somewhere there is a giant mould for these type of places that stamps itself on to our high streets.
Dress code: office chic.
Conversation topics: office cheek.
Menu: what M&S package ever so nicely in there 'thought we'd try something different tonight' range.
Good selection of beer and wine with pretentiously high prices.

Cons:

Good home made food served here till early evening in this underground cavern-like bar..diner..then look out for Firewater gig guide as it converts to a natty venue. Try and catch the Counterfiet Clash as well as original bands. Good beer and food...good people.
