Description:
The Mariner is renowned for its Scottish Cuisine and flambé dishes cooked at your table. This award-winning restaurant offers its guests a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a truly memorable dining experience. Why not make a night of it and stay in one of the fully equipped bedrooms with spectacular views over the Clyde. The chef, Gordon Dochard, comes from a long line of good cooks: he was "well taught and heavily influenced" by his mother and great aunt, both skilled in the kitchen. Gordon loves the Glaswegians' banter and friendliness; working in a restaurant in the heart of the city, he's in a prime position to enjoy its buzz.

Indicative menu: terrine of smoked salmon, pan seared with aubergine salsa and anchovy dressing; classic steak diane flambéed at your table; rosemary pannacotta with strawberries in balsamic syrup flambéed at your table.

Prices per person: Dinner £12.50 - £30.00

Seats: 50
