Description:
The new Malmaison Brasserie is a stylish and contemporary, but surprisingly authentic variation of the original French institutions of the same genre. Natural vaulted ceiling, wooden floors, softly lit tables, leather banquettes, crisp white linen and crockery to match. Only fresh seasonal produce is used throughout the menu, inspired from Great French Brasseries and cooked with modern techniques and touches for today's palate. Fantastic and affordable wines bought direct from small vineyards in France complete this relaxed, informal and oh so tasty experience. Busy, buzzy and surprisingly affordable. Don't miss out on the all new luxe champagne bar.
Indicative menu: Loch Fyne mussels, steamed in chablis and parsley; shaved bayonne ham served with cantaloupe melon; roulade of salmon; grilled rib eye of Scottish beef with mustard crust; peppered monkfish with rosemary roasted squash; assiette of chocolates - white chocolate soufflé, dark chocolate tart and milk chocolate ice cream; wild berry strudel with chamomile sauce.
