The sister company to Glasgow's biggest natural food store, Grassroot's Café offers imaginative vegetarian food, using quality - mainly organic - ingredients. Although geared toward the young, creative professionals of the locality, children are also welcome and special dietary needs can usually be met. The bright airy café has a relaxed ambience, friendly staff and creative chefs, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Indicative menu: rice wraps: marinated crispy vegetables and beansprouts and fresh herbs, wrapped in a paper thin rice skin (vegan/gluten free); five vegetable tagine served with mint and pistacio cous- cous and flatbread.
