Pros: Prices are easy on the pocket
Cons: Should be open later!

This is a pub that is always on our list anytime we come in to Glasgow(which is very regular!)This old bank is a must for all ages. There is no music but the price of a pint and a munchie is music to my ears. The choice of drink is extensive not expensive, and the 2 meals for £7 has never yet let us down.We always order the chilli (both meat and Veggie)and it is substantial. This place is always busy and brings in a fair amount of tourists. My husband and I love to eat out in Glasgow so we consider ourselves"well seasoned" Tuesday night is steak night were you can get steak and a pint,or wine for £7.He has never ever been disappointed by the quality of the steak, and rates it as one of the best he has eaten.I can't fault this place in anyway, epecially when they have Magners cider on tap....YUM! On Monday nights they have special offers on drinks.I also had a pitcher of cocktails last week for under £6(got 4 glasses out of it,and shared with a friend honest!)It is centrally located on one of the corners at George Square and handy for a wee jaunt in to The Merchant City..... The Counting House gets my vote....
