Wee Book of Glasgow

Description:
The energy and humour of the folk who have lived on the banks of the Clyde down the years is legendary. Here, in this little book, are fifty of the best photographs ever taken of the city. They reflect the life of the people who built the locomotives and ships that became famous throughout the world - the same people who so loved to dance to the throb of the big bands and who flocked to theatres to laugh at local comedians galore. This is a warm family album in miniature depicting a great city, past and present. No one who has lived in or visited Glasgow should be without it.

Pros: A great wee read
Cons: A bit short, but look forward to more

I thoroughly enjoyed this wee book. The photographs were great and there was a great deal of information that was new to me, even though I am a born-and-bred Glaswegian.

I look forward to other books in the series as I hear there are to be more of the same type with a Glasgow theme.

Buy it today and enjoy again and again!
