
Yen Oriental & Teppanyaki Glasgow Restaurant
Situated in the historic Rotunda building with its own free car park, Yen boasts the first Teppanyaki restaurant where chefs take centre stage at immense gleaming hot-plates. Upstairs the main restaurant is beautifully decorated with contemporary art in rich colours which encircle the central pillars complimented by a series of specially commissioned wax paintings of Japanese scenes.
Indicative menu: Specialising in a fusion of Japanese, Thai and Cantonese cuisine and introducing Teppanyaki hot-plate cooking to Glasgow e.g. Fresh Scottish Salmon prepared in a delicate teriyaki sauce; Succulent tiger prawns and crisp vegetables lightly coated with Tempura; Thai red curry with lemon grass and coconut milk; Aromatic crispy duck.
