Buttery and Belfry Glasgow Restaurant
Dating from 1856, this is Glasgow's oldest, most enduring and celebrated restaurant. Blessed with a relaxed atmosphere and unique interior of oak panelling, stained glass, fresh colours and the most wonderful mahogany and marble bar.
The Buttery lounge bar is perfect for afternoon coffee, drinks and early evening cocktails with canapés. Master Chef Willie Deans is passionate about cooking. Indicative menu: Open ravioli of char- grilled tamarind soaked langoustine with a tomato and caper chutney and cider bisque; confitshank of perthshire lamb pressed between potato layers with a sun blush tomato and caramelised lemon salad and winter vegetable casserole.
