A five minute westward stroll from Charing Cross takes you to the wonderful world of Mister Singh's India. Run by three generations of the Singh clan, this funky restaurant oozes personality from every fibre, and the salacious swish of the waiters' kilts guarantees that extra spicy thrill! The menu takes you on a 'Pan Eurasian' tour, from traditional and tasty Indian curries to the gastronomic delights of fusion cuisine for those who prefer it not so hot. An immensely popular restaurant patronised by an eclectic mix of clientele - from business executives to celebrities from the world of sport, media and entertainment all of whom appreciate a bit of pampering and Glasgow patter which is always on the menu in Mister Singh's!
Indicative menu: Lime jhinga - luscious king prawns marinated in fresh lime juice and garlic served with zesty lemon and crisp salad garnish; lamb simmered until tender in a rich and flavoursome spicy Ambala sauce served with lemongrass pilau rice and freshly fired naan breads followed by mango kulfi, an exotic Indian ice cream.
