78 is an established award winning city centre restaurant. Its elegant warm atmosphere makes it the kind of place you don't want to leave, made even harder by the comfortable, secluded lounge area.

Keeping it simple is the motto when it comes to the food - chef uses the very best Scottish produce, treats it with care to extract its fullest flavour and presents it with flair and style.

Lunch is a bustling affair appealing to business colleagues, couples and people who just want to relax whilst enjoying good food and good company.

Dinner is a more relaxed affair where attentive but unobtrusive staff will cater for your every need.

Indicative menu: Spicy Haggis, Neeps and Tatties with a rich staranise scented jus, Italian rocket salad and a fresh raspberry vinaigrette, Rolled Sea Bream stuffed with wild mushrooms served with tarragon dressed new potatoes and roast pepper salad, White Chocolate Mousse with fresh raspberries and a gingerbread biscuit.
