The Glasgow Tower is the world's first tower capable of revolving through 360° from the ground up. Standing at over 122m (400 feet) in height, the Glasgow Tower has displays on the city's past as well as future development, together with a viewing platform that can give views of some 40 mile (64 km) north and south.
Getting There:
GSC is located on the banks of the River Clyde opposite the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC)
- By Bus:
First Bus 89/90, Arriva 24. (Pacific Drive) - By Car and Coach:
From the M8 (east or west bound) take junction 24 and follow brown signs. From the M77 stay in the left hand lane (marked A8 Tradeston /Kinning Park) as the motor way merges with the M8. Take the next exit (junction 21 ) and follow brown signs. Ample parking. - By Train:
Exhibition Centre Station. Covered walkway from station to SECC . Access to GSC is via either the Millennium Bridge or Bell’ s Bridge. (5 – 1 0 mins.) - By Subway:
Cessnock. Exit station and turn left. Follow brown pedestrian signs. ( 10 mins.)
