Venue Intro:
The world-famous Glasgow Barrowlands Ballroom is 1900 seater concert venue with a great history and a tremendous atmosphere. The venue has played host to some of the best bands around in recent years.
Getting There:
- By Train
Approximately a mile southeast of both Glasgow Central and Queen Street rail stations (15 minute walk), Barrowlands is in the Gallowgate district of the city (adjacent to a large stall market which opens at weekends). Buchanan Street Bus Station is also about a 20 minute walk from the centre, and any bus to the Barrowlands area gets to the venue. - By Underground
The closest underground station is St Enoch's about a ten minute walk along argyle street. Go to the top of the underground station via the escalators and turn right on exiting the station into Argyle Street, then take the left hand fork at Glasgow Cross (next to the big Tolbooth) and you're nearly there, just along the Gallowgate. - By Car
There is adequate free street parking near the venue.
